The parking lot is well lit. The fitness center is small but pretty clean. The breakfast was delicious, warm & tended to by a very sweet staff member. However- pancake maker is still broken. The room was passable. It’s an old building so it doesn’t exactly look clean- like the room’s bathroom floor, elevator floors- but I think they were cleaned. If you are just staying one night- it’s not bad. Good breakfast to start your day.

The staff really could’ve been more accommodating and friendly. If you have amenities don’t act disgusting when we ask to use them. The ladies we encountered were nice but the man could use a little more hospitality training. I do appreciate who checked us in got us a room on the first floor. We have two disabled with us and after being at hotels all over Florida this week I can’t say this was at the top. Location is fantastic though. Cleaning staff were lovely.

We almost didn't stop here because of the overall reviews. However, upon arrival and questioning the front desk clerk, Timia offered to let us see a room. We did and decided to stay. Yes, the hotel is older and shows its age in some degrees, however, the accommodations were quite comfortable. The room and bath seemed very clean. Since it is a hotel that has been rebranded a HIE, the room layouts are not the same as the original build HIE hotels. Our king sofa room was definitely on the smaller side compared to our other HIE experiences. Breakfast offerings were more than adequate and the service provided by Monica was amazing. The value we experienced for the room was excellent. I'm sure during events and paying more for these accommodations might not be as good a value. Christy checked us out and was very nice. We stayed on the 5th floor in a king suite with sofa and would definitely stay here again if in the area!
